Send Clint

Listening to the news today about Jill Carroll. For those of you who live in prairie dog burrows, Jill is a journalist for the Christian Science Monitor, who was on assignment in Iraq. While she was making an attempt to interview some Iraqi chieftan, she was ambushed and taken hostage, and her driver was shot dead. Her captors sent a video with the usual jihadist propaganda. Usually, face covered...death to america..leave our land...free our women....lick our AK-47's.

But, I hope everybody whose reading this shoots a prayer out for her, because the deadline has passed and our government was unsucessful obtaining her release. I wish I could send Clint Eastwood over and negotiate. Clint would have asked for her release first and then read them the riot act. If that didn't work, he would of told em that Smith and Wesson would handle the negotiations from here on out.

Now, I'm totally against this war, because it has absolutely zero to do with the "War on Terror". I swear, Iraq somehow became the rest stop on the way to Afghanistan. The middle east has been pissed at the rest of the world for the last 2 milleniums..post Crusades. I just think we need to extend more time for a cool off period, because it doesn't seem like the resentment gonna change in our lifetime. I'm not a politician or a military expert so i'm not really qualified to dictate foreign policy, but from the results generated so far in Iraq, neither is anybody else especially the current administration.
